Hi Everyone,

I hope you had a lovely weekend.

This week is the last week of our apple block-printing intensive.

I must admit that it wasn’t easy for me to stay with one subject matter for a whole month. I tend to flit around, trying different things and circling back to old favourites.

But I found it surprisingly rewarding sticking with my apple subject. I’ve made pieces I didn’t even imagine at the beginning of the month. I’ve also made a few discoveries, which is always exciting and motivating!

This week I’ve decided to print a bowl of apples.

I’ll show you how I print a background colour.

I’ll also show you how I print flower and leaf stamps onto another shape, like a bowl or butterfly wings.
